Tribute to José Saramago (1922-2010)
On the third anniversary of the death of Nobel Prize for Literature (1998) José Saramago, we want homage to this illustrious writer with a musical concert which will mix narrative listening to music. As Saramago said in his acceptance speech of the Nobel Prize "The wisest man I ever met in my life could not read or write", but if you know listen, hear and see.
In this concert we can see paint on the author, hear small parts of some of his writings and relate them to contemporary music (some written works for this event).
Although it seems unfair use of electroacoustic and contemporary music and he said "The bombing computer and television has surrounded us with a background noise that prevents us from thinking, dialogue and people to meet face to face" we try to put face to face with your thoughts because although contemporary music called many people find it a chaos, as he said in his novel the Double "Chaos is order without decoding" and tonight will try to decipher it, closer to particular world he left us in his books José Saramago.
